About Sedorv

Hi! I'm Wendy, the owner of Sedorv Financial Services. Sedorv is actually a mashup of last names of the families who influenced me the most through life. This is my simple way of paying homage to them and to the past that shaped me. I love living in Arkansas and enjoying the rivers and lakes of our state. We have so many opportunities to enjoy God's green earth in this state! I have been blessed and want to continue to share what I have learned with others.

I have worn many hats over the years. The majority of my experience is as an accounting manager and a small business consultant. I also have experience as a working parent and now a grandparent! I love working with small business owners who are overcoming the challenges that come with growing a small business. While working as a business consultant, I learned that the majority of very small businesses struggle the most with recordkeeping and understanding what their financial reports really indicate. Many learn the hard way that unless you have good recordkeeping and clean financial records, it is very hard to get the funding needed to grow the business.

I have a servant's heart which is why I chose to start this business as my encore career. I want to see small business owners succeed and grow their local economies. I root for the little guy and want them to win a bigger piece of the pie. I think it would be a shame not to share the knowledge I have gained over a career with those who can use it most. I look forward to using my education (Masters Degree in Business Administration, Graduate Certificate in Management Information Systems and Bachelors in Business/Human Resources focus) and my experience (10+ years as an accounting manager and 15+ years working with Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center which specializes in helping small business owners start and grow their businesses.
